About

I build the whole website, not a slice of it.

Student developer. Interface, frontend, data, and deployment on every project here.

  1. 01

    Build

I take a project end to end — interface, frontend, data, deployment. One person and one system, with no gap in the middle where the work is supposed to be handed over.

  2. 02

    Break

The version that runs locally is not the version that runs. Mobile layouts, authentication state, environment variables: production is where a project tells you what you actually built.

  3. 03

    Ship

A site is finished when its owner can run it without me. That means labelled controls, honest error states, and handover notes they can act on.

  4. 04

    Repeat

Each project so far has corrected something the previous one got wrong. The corrections are specific, and they are written down in the case studies.

Where it came from

Web development held my attention because the result of every decision shows up on the screen immediately.

At first I worked on appearance. The harder part sits behind the interface: working out what the user actually needs, and then keeping it working once it is deployed and someone else depends on it.

99 AKTAU was my first commercial project: booking requests, an admin area, a database, authentication, and a deployment somebody else depends on. Tuesday Lounge Bar was a different problem — no backend, all ordering. Mangystau Trials started at a hackathon and taught me to control the size of an idea.

The details are in the ALT QR, 99 AKTAU, Tuesday Lounge Bar, and Mangystau Trials case studies.

I am still early in this. This portfolio is what I have finished so far, and what I learned while building it.

Corrections

What each project changed

In order, including the hackathon that did not reach the final.

  1. First projects

    Started with small websites

I learned the basics by changing layouts, rebuilding simple pages, and checking the result in the browser.

Small finished pages taught me more than a collection of unfinished experiments.

  2. Hackathon

    Built Mangystau Trials

A tourism prototype with a route flow, map, budget input, and trip preferences. It did not reach the final selection.

The idea needed a smaller first version and one clearly named main feature.

  3. Commercial work

    Delivered 99 AKTAU

The public site, booking requests, admin login, status controls, Supabase connection, and deployment setup.

The client still needs clear controls and documentation after the website is published.

  4. Hospitality work

    Built Tuesday Lounge Bar

I organised the venue information and built a responsive site with direct access to the menu, location, contacts, and reservation action.

Content order and mobile navigation decide how a business website performs.

  5. Now

    Improving English and web development

Clearer writing, stronger frontend fundamentals, better performance, and more reliable project handover.

The goal is to make each new project more complete than the previous one.
